We are looking for a candidate for a VIE mission of:

Bioanalysis and Biomarker Junior Manager- VIE Contract (W/M/D)

Target start date: 1/06/2024

This position is for an Outsourcing Manager with expertise in bioanalysis within the team of Bioanalysis and Biomarker Outsourcing in TMED (translational medicine and early development).

Responsibilities:

An office-based position to support the Program Outsourcing Manager with the externalization and operationalization of clinical biomarkers and bioanalytical activities for pre-clinical and clinical drug development. These activities will include, but may not be restricted to:

• Monitor assay development, assay validation and sample analysis processes, ensure timely delivery of quality results in compliance with regulatory guidance
• Interface with Central Labs and sample management team to ensure the sample logistics meet study requirements
• Oversee PK (Pharmacokinetic), ADA (Anti-Drug Antibodies) or biomarker analysis that is performed externally
• Identify and help onboard vendors for specific analysis, provide advice and support on scientific and technical aspects of analysis where possible
• Work collaboratively with the CROs (Contract research organizations), ensure that all studies are managed in respect to timelines, budget, scientific integrity, and quality deliverables

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or related discipline with a good understanding of bioanalytical technologies
• Experience in LC-MS (Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry) to enable monitoring of external vendor activities
• Bioanalytical experience would be a great plus
• Familiarity with ADA (Anti-Drug Antibodies) would be a great advantage
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative international environment interacting predominantly in English
• Awareness of GxP (Good x Practice) (GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GCP (Good Clinical Practice)) and its importance within preclinical and clinical trials
• The candidate will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of activities within the role so should be capable of multitasking and demonstrate good organizational skills
