JOB TITLE: Director, Market Access Health Innovation


STRATEGIC CONTEXT

  • Within the Specialty Care GBU, the Market Access team’s vision is to drive improved customer engagement and become partner of choice by delivering solutions and insights that align seamlessly with our payer customers' core interests.

KEY DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE: SCOPE & SCALE

  • Develop and oversee a variety of creative, results-oriented Digital & Innovation initiatives, Expanding the value imperative, meeting our customer needs and based on Sanofi Market Access portfolio.

  • Lead personalized, data-driven omnichannel engagement campaign to support the Value and Access teams (including journey mapping, persona strategy, business case development for new capabilities, etc.)

  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities, threats, and unique differentiating advantages.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • This role will report into Sr. Director Market Access Health Innovation and will be tasked with creating a comprehensive 360° customer engagement model and facilitating excellence in omnichannel execution.

  • Their responsibilities include expediting the deployment of tools and capabilities to empower the Account Teams at Sanofi Marketing Access in orchestrating a personalized customer experience.

  • This position involves collaboration with Value and Access leadership, alliance partners, Digital Accelerator, IT, Account Teams, Commercial and Medical Leadership, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, Business Operations & Strategy.

Insights

  • Evaluate existing and new digital, AI solutions & continually identifies areas for improvement and partnership opportunities.

  • Execute on insights gathering and CI needs as prioritized with the Head of Digital & Innovation and Head of V&A

  • Work with Analytics and Data Management groups on development, execution, and interpretation of insights. Create a framework to share learnings and best practices across markets to raise overall performance levels.

Marketing Plan

  • Support cross functional development of the annual integrated growth plan.

  • Leverage Digital capabilities of Sanofi for the benefit of expanding value for our payer customers. Including Innovation, AI Pilots, Omnichannel advancements etc.

  • Proactively shape the customer engagement channel mix, develop strategies to position our portfolio and create value for our customers.

  • Source, evaluate, and provide recommendations on Digital tools, services, and partners.

Execution

  • Deliver on marketing commitments as defined in the Digital and Innovation plan - including brand specific tactical execution with Value & Access leads.

  • Assess requirements to develop project briefs, estimate resource requirements for budget planning.

  • Negotiate, execute, and manage contracts with performance-based iterations with external service providers.

  • Measure the effectiveness of campaigns & continually focus our efforts to meet customer needs.

  • Communicate closely with agency partners, V&A, Account teams and manage interactions with the Review Committee for implementation of tactics.

  • Partner with training to develop modules and initiatives to enhance digital acumen and overall team capabilities.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Education and work experience

  • Willingness to challenge the status quo, take initiative and drive a sense of urgency.

  • Demonstrated success in pharmaceutical marketing, omnichannel marketing, new product planning, and brand strategy development / execution

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups which may include Value and Access, Account, Research & Development, Medical Affairs, Business Development, Market Research, Public Affairs, Training, Operations, IT, and Finance

  • Experience in the US health market, specifically in Market Access with insights into US health systems and payer landscape.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate across functions.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong financial acumen, analytic skills & critical thinking.

  • BA/BS from an accredited school required and MBA degree is preferred.
