About the job

The Treasury Core Model (TCM) Project is a Global Treasury Transformation program that aims at harmonizing Treasury Processes Globally and at deploying a state-of-the art Treasury System in line with Industry Best Practices, supporting Global and Local Treasury functions while strengthening Compliance and Internal Controls.

The TCM project is integrated and articulated with the “One-ERP /iShift” project and TCM solution is supported by SAP S4 Hana Treasury Modules embedded in the iShift Platform.

The Treasury Core Model went live on Sept 2020 and will continue to be progressively deployed to Sanofi entities along with iShift back office, in deployment waves.

In addition to those deployment waves, ad-hoc Business Value Projects serve smaller scale deployment of new entities in live countries or implementation of evolutions or new features to the Core model.

At the end of 2022, 73 legal entities in 17 Countries are live with deployment waves planned until 2027.

Consumer Healthcare is becoming a standalone division (CHC) within Sanofi to become a faster moving, consumer and customer centric business as part of project CHLOE (Consumer HealthCare Lead Optimize Empower). This business and IT transformation will entail a standalone ERP, Financial, Systems, Regulatory and People.

The Digital Autonomy Project will be managed by a dedicated Sanofi Project Treasury Team comprising 10-15 people (Internal and External) led by the CHC TCM Project Lead. The TCM Project lead will have the direct supervision of Functional CHC Treasury Stream Leads and Functional experts and will work in very close relationship with

• a Solution Delivery and Application Support Manager responsible for a team of Solution Delivery Experts, and Application Support Experts.
• Specialized implementation partner consultants (Treasury Specialized firm).
• CHC Treasury Functional project Lead being the single point of contact with Local/Regional Treasurers
• Corporate Treasury
• TCM Project Team
• IShift clone project team, especially manage finance teams

Once the new CHC S4-Hana platform is live, the CHC Treasury Project Team will be accountable for:

• Leading/ supporting the future evolution projects of the CHC Business Unit
• Managing the Application support Maintenance, according to the CHC strategy

In this role you will...

The CHC TCM Solution Delivery Expert contributes to the CHLOE 2.0 project, for which he will contribute delivering the solution all along two implementation phases:

Phase 1: Clone and Independent bank connectivity

• An effective deployment of the TCM Cloned solution for CHC (embedded in the cloned iShift ERP Platform) and its connection to the legacy iSHift & TCM platform.
• An effective implementation of the changes / retrofit required in the legacy iShift platform, avoiding regressions and business disruptions.
• The implementation of the new independent CHC bank connectivity solution, under the new CHC BIC.
• Coordination with the one-Erp CHC team of the master data cleansing on the clone

Phase 2: APM (Advanced Payment Management) & Functional Autonomy

• Deliver the implementation of APM module, if retained
• Support the definition of CHC Treasury Fit-for-purpose Strategy and deliver the Functional Autonomy, according to the future CHC Strategy that will be defined

For those deliverables the CHC TCM Solution Delivery Expert is responsible for:

• Design of the solution
  • Co-Lead together with stream lead the detailed design and fit/gap analysis of the different evolution or deployment waves according to the project roadmap;
  • Support Stream Leads for design of transition periods including interfaces with legacy systems
  • Take part in design of transversal streams:
    • Master data management and migration strategy
    • Analytics
    • Authorizations
    • Process controls
    • UX
  • Collect and consolidate all information on Treasury required for Infrastructure and application landscape definition
  • Analyze, assess and propose solutions to meet functional requirements in the most effective way analyzing new capabilities provided by SAP S4HANA for the perimeter; contributing to continuous improvement of the solution with POCs 
  • Write-up /update of Solution deliverables for all Treasury processes
    • Solution documents for the different processes
    • RICEFW functional and technical specifications;
    • Solution Configuration Rational Documents

• Development and testing
  • Test strategy definition (UT, IT & UAT) ensuring alignment and integration with SHIFT;
    • Design Test Scenarios and write-up Test Scripts;
    • Unit, Functional & Integrated Tests execution with management of deficiencies & support for UAT’s
  • Ensure quality of developments / manage audits & quality KPI follow up
  • Organize, document and execute integration and system tests.
  • Contribute to user acceptance tests and finalize the solution (address defects identified).
  • Lead interfaces with different Treasury Application Partners including Bank Connectivity and connection with Payroll Providers/Systems
  • Support in the design and strategy for the training & change management actions
  • Ensuring appropriate update/ adaptation to the CHC IC Framework (leveraging as much as possible the current IT dependencies)
  • Be a point of contact with SAP development to follow-up and manage SAP incidents, Custom Development Programs, new functionalities as well as participate to SAP co-innovation initiatives

• Migration and go-live
  • Supervise and Support in the data cleansing, data deletion or data conversion elaboration (data migration plan);
  • Design/Execution of cut-over plan:
    • with responsibility for the technical tasks (either direct or validating the implementation partner work),
    • and accountability to support for integration with the Business cut-over ramp-down and ramp-up activities;
  • Provide guidance to  Stream Leads for User training and Change Management activities;
  • Ensure go-live support and manage the incident/change management during Hypercare period
• Ensuring the project methodology is followed throughout the project phases
• Supporting the CHC TCM Solution & Application Support Manager in building the CHC AMS organization and process
• Smooth transitioning after project Hypercare period to the dedicated Level 3 Treasury AMS

About you

• Bachelor's degree in finance / economics or similar
• Experience in an international working environment
• Profound Treasury knowledge, based on at least 10 years of relevant Treasury experience within Bank / Corporate Treasury
  • Treasury Certification is a plus
• 10 years of experience working with SAP Finance and Treasury modules on S4/HANA (BAM, CM, TRM, IHC, BCM, MBC, BPC)
  • Experience with SAP customizing in SPRO and Abap developments
  • Demonstrate a good track record of Treasury/Finance projects implementations - preferably based on SAP solutions
  • At least 10 years of experience in project management essentially based on SAP Finance and Treasury
  • Experience with project management methodology
  • Project management Certification is a plus
  • Change management certification is a plus
• Experience with Application Support
• Experience with other Treasury Systems is a plus
• Knowledge of MS Applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project…)
• Languages: fluent in English; any further language is a plus
• Be able to think strategically / “think out of the box”
