1. Sanofi Manufacturing System
Support the deployment and maturity of the Sanofi Manufacturing System (SMS) standards to Manufacturing Operating Units and Support Functions (+QDCI, Daily Capacity Management, Skills Matrix, Process Confirmation, Value Stream Board, Obeya, Standard Agenda, Problem Solving etc.)
Ensure alignment of SMS standards with site and corporate requirements; documentation of standards so they can be easily implemented and replicated and auditing areas to the standards that are implemented.
Provide training, education and coaching on the SMS standards and Lean tools
2. Manufacturing Excellence
Assist in the establishment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and performance standards; challenging leading vs lagging indicators, identifying the behaviors the indicators drive and keeping KPIs focused on current issues, and objectives.
Assist functional teams in identification of improvements to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Involvement and ensure alignment with site/function strategy; brainstorming ideas from Gemba walks, shop floor issues coming from performance boards, global and site goals and objectives.
Align activities and improvements to support the Manufacturing Excellence Vision and Mission; evaluate initiatives against the global SMS (Sanofi Manufacturing System) and the ME (Manufacturing Excellence) vision and mission.
Education and experience:
B.S. in Engineering / Science or other related field required
1-3 or 3+ Years hands on experience in facilitating and executing Lean/Six Sigma Kaizen/workshop/improvement projects resulting in documented benefits to cycle time, cost, quality.
Experience with project management and Lean Manufacturing
Experience with the implementation of a variety of Continuous Improvement tools such as +QDCI, Daily Capacity Management, Process Confirmation, 5S, Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance, Value Stream Mapping and similar methodologies.
Experience acting as a Change Agent impacting the culture of an organization and change management experience.
Exhibit strong scientific and analytical understanding of the processes and quality systems.
Competence in systematically solving problems using appropriate process improvement methodologies to analyze complex data/information from different cross-functional teams, both locally and globally.
Experience executing continuous improvement initiatives in any one of the following areas: transactional based processes, manufacturing improvements or information systems.
Experience with deployment of the Sanofi Manufacturing System standards and the Fit4Future Methodology is greatly preferred
Scope and dimensions:
Integrated approach across the total value stream within the plant to improve performance.
Improvements and projects to be focused on improving overall business performance (cycle time, cost, quality and customer service) and will provide significant breakthrough improvements to the business.
Customers: Primarily the Industrial Affairs organization, with cross functional involvement throughout the organization to implement operational or transactional improvement projects.
Impact: Internal and external customer focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Involvement.
Based on the scope of projects, the impact and involvement will be both local and global from the shop floor to the ILT (Industrial Leadership Team) members.

Creation, improvement and implementation of new/existing performance standards
Workshop planning and execution
Execution of activities within the Manufacturing Excellence team to support internal programs
