About the Opportunity

Inspire your journey at Sanofi within Diversity & Inclusion (D&I). A unique opportunity has arisen for a Global D&I Partner to join the team, working closely with the Chief Diversity & Experience Officer, the HR leadership team and business leaders. This is a key position to develop, executive and lead the on specific strategic pillars of the D&I strategy in alignment with the wider global vision for Sanofi.

In this role you will:

  • Lead/contribute towards a systemic, sustainable and progressive inclusion agenda alongside business leaders (including Chief D&E Officer, HR Leadership)
  • Develop and execute plans to engage employees and leadership in D&I programmes to promote a culture of inclusivity
  • Identify effective Inclusion practices / experiences into every phase of the employee lifecycle, to support the development of diverse talent working closely with the Employee Experience team
  • Act as lead coach to ERGs, building their confidence and capacity to drive positive initiatives in line with the strategy and to be able to showcase their impact
  • Create a roadmap that outlines the philosophy behind the actions as well as all engagement initiatives including internal and external communications / events for the respective areas of expertise
  • Ensure there is complete connectivity with Sanofi’s CSR team and agenda
  • Help embed Inclusive practices / ways of working into our culture
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure Inclusion is at the heart of the employer brand and selection practices are bias free
  • Partner with the Learning team to shape / define ongoing training options to support an inclusive and diverse environment
  • Articulate appropriate metrics to measure all relevant aspects of Inclusion and provide updates to the key stakeholders
  • Provide regular reporting, identifying risks and opportunities for continuous improvement to the wider business
  • Monitor external Inclusion policy and practice and ensure policies are fit for our purpose

About You

To excel in this role you will need to have/be:

  • An experienced D&I practitioner with end to end project management experience
  • Ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the issues at play in D&I worldwide
  • Good knowledge of Inclusion best practices across different underrepresented groups
  • Strong project management, analysis and reporting skills, able to demonstrate delivery of data informed approaches to Inclusion
  • Experience of developing and implementing D&I initiatives in practical and innovative ways, drawing on technology to improve
  • Ability to act as a coach, trainer and mentor, building skills, knowledge, and capacity within the organisation
  • A high level of self-awareness, empathy, diplomacy, and confidentiality
  • Well-connected externally into D&I networks and communities
  • Strong planning and organisation skills – with the ability to re-prioritise as required
  • Able to track success of campaigns/initiatives so projects must show ROI
  • Able to work to a high degree of accuracy and meet deadlines
  • Spot opportunities to drive growth for our brand
  • Innovative in the ways of doing things
  • Embracing new ideas, challenges and change with positivity and a hands-on approach
  • Not afraid of failure. You stretch and show how the experience has helped the business learn for the future and benefitted all
