The Packaging and Labeling Technician role is intended to lead or participate in primary packaging, secondary packaging and assembly of investigational product (IP), participate in warehousing activity, clinical label design and generation (if applicable) for domestic and international clinical trials for the Great Valley, Clinical Supplies SCP.
The incumbent is required to produce high quality IP with general supervision. He/she must be able to ensure work of others is in compliance to established procedures and policies. The incumbent must accurately document information relative to preparation, packaging, and shipping of clinical supplies in accordance with cGMP’s and departmental SOP’s.
The incumbent is required to identify deviations and problems to supervision. Must assist in conducting investigations, assessment of options and implementation of solutions in order to maintain a fully compliant operation within CS SCP under general supervision.
He/she must participate in the set-up, operation, cleaning, validation/qualification of packaging equipment as required under cGMPs and by company SOPs.
Minimum High School diploma
2+ years' experience in a pharmaceutical (or other cGMP-regulated) packaging environment
Must be able to work overtime, as needed.
Leadership experience is strongly preferred.
Attention-to-detail and accuracy
Good interpersonal skills, and able to work well with others on the team.
Ability to consistently be prompt and dependable
College degree is preferred
Computer familiarity is strongly preferred (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Word)
