Treasury Account & Operations Manager

About the Opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the UK & Ireland MCO Treasury Management function with responsibility for the management one member of staff responsible for local Treasury operations and of the business partner team for back office clearing operations.  You will be also liaising with the Corporate Treasury team for liquidity, transactional FX exposures management, operational UK cash flow forecasting (< 1month) and reporting to ensure that risk is minimised and group cash flow is maximised. 

About Sanofi Business Unit

The Financial team is responsible for all aspects of internal and external financial reporting of the Sanofi group across the UK and Ireland, ensuring the integrity and completeness of this reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Liquidity Management
• GPS Controls and Processes - Treasury Operations
• FX Reporting and Analysis
• Manage intercompany ‘Netting’ process, including loading and releasing files
• Banking Relationships: Key point of contact with UK and Ireland banks in respect of Treasury Operational issues ensuring quality of service; Manage UK and Irish bank accounts, mandates and maintenance of the payment authorisers.; Maintain banking and payment systems in accordance with Corporate policy
• Treasury System Management
• Supervise, review and/or prepare Treasury Reporting and Analysis
• Treasury General Ledger Management – daily monitoring and weekly reviews

About You

To excel in this role you will need to have:

Essential requirements:

• Degree – strong academic background; Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified/part qualified)
• Working in a multi-site, multi-national organization
• Working in  operational finance function
• Technical accounting and reporting experience
• Banking or Treasury Accounting experience
• Experience running Treasury operational processes
• Excellent systems experience/computer literacy (SAP Essential)
• Small team management or supervisory experience
