MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Planning

  • Lead channel reviews, SCM reviews and in-store excellence reviews supports country lead team for Trade and shopper related Annual Plan and Business Review topics
  • Lead and own Masterplan, linking Above-the-line & Below-the-line activities with clear sync periods and priorities to drive focus in execution
  • Lead channel reviews, SCM reviews and in-store excellence reviews as part of Monthly Sales & Operations process
  • Lead the presentation of monthly cycle objectives and channel updates to sales team, working closely with sales team, briefing documents and clear 3D cycle priorities understood and executed
  • Be an active member of planning team ensuring and challenging forecasts from both Sales and marketing team
  • Contributes to below the line budget setting process and tracks the Trade marketing Costs (total GTN: CP, TM) to ensure they remain within budget
  • Responsible for pre and post ROI calculation of trade activity and capturing learnings of what works/doesn’t work to impact future activity

Reporting & Analysis

  • Own & deploy Monthly Dashboard which covers all key business KPIs
  • Identify and understand operational gaps, provide key findings and proposed solutions to business issues for further alignment with management team

Business Drive

Be the Channel Expert

  • Define potential customers within key channels through Customer Value Management (CVM) approach
  • Define Account Standards for key customers / channels aiming at delivering excellent execution at the point of purchase covering below elements;

Distribution

  • Define Must Stock List (MSL) by channel and align with management team
  • Ensure MSL being communicated to sales team and that regular tracking in place to monitor and fill gaps

Display

  • Define Primary & Secondary display KPIs by brand and store type and align with management team
  • Drive and lead development of Point of Sales Materials ensuring these are aligned to brand / category guidelines
  • Ensures all promotional material complies with the company policies and have been approved in line with SOPs
  • Ensure all display KPIs being communicated to sales team and that regular tracking in place to monitor and fill gaps

Detailing

  • Define detailing standards and input to cycle plan
  • Work closely with Marketing & Medical Marketing in Detailing Material Development to ensure all materials are fit for purpose
  • Ensure that all in store activity meets regulatory requirements and legal framework is signed off in the required manner to meet local requirements
  • Closely monitor in-store execution performance, identify executional gaps, and regularly review with marketing and sales to come up with appropriate action plans to close gaps
  • Own promotional strategy and ensure compliance. Set standards based on ROI learnings and support business case for any new mechanics using pre and post evaluation
  • Own Cycle trade deals, propose activity and seek sign off ahead of activity and in line with timings required to meet customer or channel requirements
  • Lead in store execution (3D) plan for New Product Launch
  • All KPIs in place ahead of launch
  • Ensure effective communication to the sales and marketing team of requirements and timing required to ensure success
  • Track trade execution for all NPDs / NBOs to ensure delivery of targets and issues or opportunities flagged to business
  • Work closely with Key Account Managers in developing customer contract to accelerate growth of key & potential customers

Be the Category Expert

  • Develop Category Growth Story to support sales team during business review with key accounts
  • Develop Trade Presentation for New Product Listings
  • Work in conjunction with market research teams to identify shopper research needs and to identify the key questions to answer. Turns research results into usable insights which can be shared with the sales and marketing teams and presents these to external customers

ABOUT YOU

  • At least 10-12 years Business Experience in Sales Operations with minimum 5 years’ experience in Trade Marketing
  • Prior working experience in MNC or Local Firm for FMCG/OTC  Healthcare industry
  • In-depth knowledge of modern trade and multi-channel experience preferred
  • Strong Financial Analysis skills required
  • Can turn Analysis into compelling commercial strategies
  • Dynamic, results-oriented individual with a "hands on" style
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment
  • Customer-oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player
  • Personable, Energetic, Responsive, Confident and Honest
