Within Sanofi's R&D, Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) works in close collaboration with the other entities in Sanofi’s Global Research Platform and the Hubs, in order to support Therapeutic Area clusters to optimize, select and evaluate development candidates for optimal properties of target engagement and minimal risks related to bioavailability, duration of exposure or covariates driving variability.

Main outcomes include selection of most promising scaffolds; optimization of chemical series and other modalities; demonstration of target engagement and establishment of PK/PD relationships; and continuous evaluation and refinement of translational parameters affecting probability of success in clinical studies. At Sanofi multiple modalities are at the Therapeutic Areas disposal including synthetic molecules, monoclonal antibodies, bi & tri specific antibodies, fusion proteins, nanobodies and gene therapies (not inclusive).

Today DMPK France reinforces its laboratory activities on the support of biotherapeutics, including several modalities such as mAb/Nb hybrids, fusion proteins, ADCs, NDCs.

In this context, the DMPK/Metabolism Group is seeking for an expert in structural analysis with a strong expertise in biotransformation and enzymology applied to biotherapeutics plus a good knowledge in the drug metabolism of small molecules.

  • Master state-of-the-art high resolution mass spectrometers
  • Develop analytical approaches for the assessment of large molecule’s biotransformation using HPLC/MS methods associated to adequate sample preparations including protein precipitation, immuno-capture, reduction, enzymatic digestions
  • Monitor metabolism studies applied to large and/or small molecules using both cold and radiolabeledmaterials
  • Communicate results across the Research Organization and at global level
  • Ensure presentations at international conferences
  • Write publications
